SparkFun Motor Driver + XBee Shield

This shield is designed for use in motion-based projects with your Arduino boards, allowing you to drive motors and communicate via XBee modules.

Thanks to the onboard TB6612FNG H-bridge motor driver, you can control your DC motors with up to 13V voltage and 1.3A current per channel.

Additionally, all Arduino pins are broken out on the board with standard 0.1" headers, along with adjacent GND and PWR connections, making it much easier to connect sensors and servo motors. The power source for the PWR pin can be selected via a switch between the Arduino’s 5V pin or Vin pin.

The board includes a dedicated XBee socket. There is also a switch to select between hardware or software UART communication, allowing you to upload code to the Arduino without removing the XBee module.

For I2C communication, the board provides dedicated pins along with 3.3V and GND lines, enabling easy integration of I2C-based sensors such as IMU modules into your project.
