The Arduino USB Host Shield adds USB interface capabilities to your Arduino board, allowing you to connect various USB devices and create interactive projects.
With this shield, you can connect a keyboard or mouse to your Arduino, enable wireless communication via a Bluetooth dongle, use barcode readers, or even connect your smartphone. The shield integrates a MAX3421E USB host/SPI converter. It is compatible with Arduino Uno and Mega, and with the 5V/3.3V selection switch, it can also be used with 3.3V boards.
