The TOF400C VL53L1X Distance Sensor Module is based on the VL53L1X Time-of-Flight (ToF) system, enabling accurate distance measurement regardless of object color or surface. It utilizes a SPAD (Single Photon Avalanche Diodes) array along with FlightSense™ technology for precise and reliable sensing.
Equipped with a 940 nm infrared emitter and advanced filtering, the module offers strong resistance to ambient light interference and provides a measurement range of up to 400 cm. It features a dead zone between 0–4 cm and a 27° field of view (FOV).
The sensor also supports 1D motion detection and communicates via the I2C interface. It comes with an easy-to-use API in C language, making it suitable for both industrial robotics and mobile applications involving object and obstacle detection.
