The MAX471 Voltage Test Module is used to measure current and voltage in a circuit. The red terminal scales down the input voltage by a factor of 5. Since Arduino analog inputs can handle up to 5V, the module’s input voltage must not exceed 25V (5V × 5). For 3.3V systems, the input voltage must not exceed 16.5V (3.3V × 5).

The onboard MAX471 chip is used to measure the current consumed by the load.

Measurement Ranges:
  • Voltage Range: DC 3–25V (for 5V systems) or DC 3–16.5V (for 3.3V systems)
  • Current Range: DC 0–3A
  • Accuracy: 2%
  • Conversion Ratio: 1V / A
