This board is a ±30A ACS712T ELC-30A Hall-effect based linear current sensor developed by Allegro Microsystems. This version allows bidirectional current input up to 30A. It provides an analog voltage output (185 mV/A) with an error margin below 5%.
It is designed for bidirectional input current from -30A to +30A (the stable sensor IC can withstand up to 5 times overcurrent).

Using a Hall-effect sensor allows the IC to electrically isolate the current path from the sensor electronics (up to 2.1 kV RMS). This enables the sensor to be installed anywhere along the current path and used in applications requiring electrical isolation.
By adding a capacitor to the filter pins on the board, the 80 kHz bandwidth can be optionally reduced.
