The ADXL335 three-axis accelerometer module provides easy access to the analog outputs of the X, Y, and Z axes. It can detect forces up to ±3g on all axes. It is suitable for tilt sensing applications using the static acceleration of gravity, as well as measuring motion, shock, or vibration caused by dynamic acceleration.

The user can select the bandwidth of the accelerometer via the CX, CY, and CZ pin capacitances for the X OUT, Y OUT, and Z OUT pins. Depending on the application, the bandwidth ranges are 0.5 Hz to 1600 Hz for the X and Y axes, and 0.5 Hz to 550 Hz for the Z axis. The module also includes a built-in 3.3V regulator, allowing it to be powered from a 3.3V–5V supply.
