The DS18B20 sensor is a waterproof model. Since it is a digital sensor, it can measure temperature over long distances using its 1-meter cable without any data loss during transmission.
It supports 9-bit or configurable 12-bit resolution via a single-wire interface. This sensor is suitable for measuring temperature in buildings, equipment, machinery, and liquid tanks.
