Adafruit Trinket 5V
12,00 USD
Do not worry about its little size! This board, holding ATtiny85 microcontroller of Atmel, will provide a practical solution for your size-limited projects. It is possible to program Trinket 5V using Arduino IDE.
ATtiny85 Microcontroller holds 8 kB flash memory and 5 programmable digital I/O pins. Thanks to the bootloader software (pre-loaded) you can use your board just like an Arduino board by connecting to the PC via USB port. The board works on 5V logic level. It is possible to set the board to 8 or 16 Mhz clock speed.
Even the board is compatible with Arduino , it is lack of some features:
- There is not any serial port on the board.
- On some kind of computers, USB 3.0 ports do not see the bootloader well. To avoid from this you may plug your Trinket to a USB 2.0 port or you may plug a USB 2.0 multiplexer to your USB 3.0 port and use the board.
Technical Features:
- ATtiny85 microcontroller
- 8 kB flash memory (2.75 kB is used by bootloader)
- 512 byte SRAM
- 512 byte EEPROM
- 8 or 16 Mhz clock speed (set on software)
- Possibility to use with Arduino IDE or AVR dude
- Mini USB socket (for power and programming)
