MPU6050 6-Axis Accelerometer and Gyroscope Sensor – GY-521

The MPU6050 (GY-521) is a 6-axis IMU sensor module that combines a 3-axis gyroscope and a 3-axis accelerometer, widely used in robotics, multicopter, and hobby projects.

Thanks to the onboard voltage regulator, it can operate with a 3V–5V supply, making it easy to use with various development boards. Both the accelerometer and gyroscope data are accessed via the I²C interface, providing 16-bit resolution on each axis.

With standard pin spacing, the module can be easily used with breadboards and prototyping boards.
