The BMP180 Digital Barometric Pressure Sensor – GY-68 is a compact and highly practical sensor that measures atmospheric pressure and provides a digital output. By analyzing air pressure, it can also determine altitude, making it especially useful in multicopter and drone projects, as well as many other applications.
The BMP180 can be easily used with Arduino and various microcontroller platforms. It measures pressure in the range of 300–1100 hPa and can estimate altitude between 500 and 9000 meters.
It offers high resolution of 0.03 hPa (approximately 0.25 meters), enabling precise altitude measurements.
