This sensor can be used both as shallow waters measurement sensor (up to 40mm) and rain sensor.
A result of conductive lines which are extruded parallel to each other, contact with water, the sensor output value can be read on an analog PIN. It can be used with lots of microcontroller platforms such as Arduino. The use of the sensor is quite simple. Supply voltage and a ground connection is made and the output leg of the sensor can be read.
